Hi I really want to install OS X Snow Leopard on my system but I do not know if my specs are compatible. I want to use my 500gb ssd for OS X and my 3tb hdd for windows. Windows is already installed on my 3tb HDD. Are there any links you guys can please provide to help me determine whether my build is compatible with OS X or not? My specs will be posted below. Thank You CPU: Intel Core i7-3820 3.6GHz Quad-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Custom Liquid Cooling Loop (CPU, and GPU) Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth X79 ATX LGA2011 Motherboard Memory: G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory Storage: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5' 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 500GB 2.5' Solid State Disk Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 770 Hydro Copper Classified 4GB Case: Corsair 900D ATX Full Tower Case Power Supply: Antec High Current Pro 750W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply.

I am going to direct you to this article that may answer your question: Thanks. Helped a lot. Sadly the i7 3820 is more difficult than a lot of other processors to make hackintosh work but it is compatible.

I'm sure there's an easier way of doing it by using Linux instead to make it look and feel like Mac. But I'm unsure of your actual use of the Mac OS. Linux is great I have used it a lot and it is fairly easy to make it feel like mac but terminal (command line) is a bit different. My use for mac isn't anything major haha.

I simply wanted to have some fun with it. I wanted to dual boot from two separate hard drives. My 3tb hdd containing windows 8 and my 500gb ssd containing mac os x snow leopard. Either way I can always run vmware. Thanks for the help.
